Billing
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Autlantic ("we", "us", "Autlantic") operates Autlantic Billing, including the merchant portal, hosted checkout, Billing API, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect for Autlantic Billing, how we use it, and your choices.
Autlantic Billing is separate from the Autlantic creator membership platform. Data practices for autlantic.com memberships are covered by that product's privacy policy.
Who we are
Autlantic Billing provides software for merchants to sell recurring USDC subscriptions on Base, manage customers and invoices, and integrate via API and webhooks. Customer USDC settles to the merchant's configured wallet. Autlantic does not custody customer subscription revenue.
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@autlantic.com. Autlantic is the data controller for personal data we process to operate Autlantic Billing, except where a merchant processes customer data for their own product under their own policies.
Information we collect
- Merchant account data: company or product name, email, password (stored hashed), team invites, and role permissions.
- Billing configuration: products, prices, trials, payout wallet addresses, webhook endpoints, and API key metadata (not full secret values after creation where applicable).
- Customer and subscription data: identifiers and emails you or your integration provide, plan selections, subscription status, invoice records, and related billing events.
- Transaction data: amounts, currencies (USDC), payment status, and blockchain transaction identifiers used to verify payments and renewals on Base.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies or similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and secure the Service. See our Cookie Policy.
- Communications: messages you send to support and notification delivery logs related to your account.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following bases:
- Contract: to provide Autlantic Billing, authenticate merchants, process subscriptions and invoices, and operate checkout and webhooks.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug failures, and improve core product functionality, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
- Consent: where we ask for it, such as optional analytics cookies if enabled.
How we use information
- Create and manage merchant accounts and team access.
- Operate products, prices, customers, subscriptions, and invoices.
- Verify on-chain payments and deliver billing events to your webhooks.
- Provide support, security monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- Send transactional emails such as password resets and invite links.
- Improve reliability and developer experience of Autlantic Billing.
Merchants and customers
Merchants may receive customer emails, subscription status, and invoice details through the dashboard and API. Merchants are responsible for how they use customer data in their own products and for providing their own privacy notices where required.
Sharing and service providers
We use infrastructure and service providers to host the Service, send email, and operate related systems. They process data only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal data.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction involving Autlantic Billing.
Blockchain payments are public by nature. Transaction hashes and wallet addresses recorded on Base may be visible on-chain independently of Autlantic.
Retention
We retain account, subscription, and invoice records for as long as needed to operate the Service, meet legal and accounting needs, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion subject to lawful retention requirements.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect accounts and billing data, including hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@autlantic.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity first.
International transfers
Autlantic Billing may be operated using infrastructure in multiple countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Children
Autlantic Billing is not directed to children under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not create a merchant account for use by children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
