Billing
Non-custodial overview
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Autlantic Billing is a non-custodial software platform. It helps merchants automate blockchain-based subscriptions and invoices in USDC on Base. This page describes how settlement works in plain language.
What Autlantic is
Autlantic provides software development and operation of a digital platform for subscription management, monetisation tools, blockchain payment automation, and developer infrastructure.
Autlantic Billing is not positioned as a crypto exchange, wallet provider, digital asset marketplace, or money transfer service for merchant customer payments.
How customer USDC settles
Typical recurring flow:
- The customer authorizes a payment allowance from their wallet.
- USDC moves on Base from the customer wallet to the merchant payout wallet.
- Autlantic verifies payment, updates invoices and access, and sends webhooks.
Autlantic does not receive customer subscription revenue into an Autlantic balance and does not custody that revenue for later payout.
Relayer wallets
Autlantic operates transaction relayers solely for network fee sponsorship and transaction submission on Base. Relayer wallets may hold ETH (or other gas tokens) to pay fees.
Relayer wallets do not:
- Receive customer subscription USDC as settlement.
- Hold merchant customer balances.
- Pay refunds from Autlantic funds.
- Withdraw merchant funds as a custodian.
Refunds
When a merchant issues a supported refund, USDC returns from the merchant wallet to the customer wallet. Autlantic does not keep a refund reserve for customer payments. See the Refund Policy.
Software fees vs customer payments
Merchants may pay Autlantic separately for software or platform plans. Those fees are distinct from customer USDC that settles to the merchant wallet.
